This is where everything you've learned up until now comes together—strategy, teamwork, and precise execution. The final boss is no pushover, and completing this part of the Easter Egg is a major achievement. But don’t worry, we’ve got all the tips and tricks you need to survive this final gauntlet and walk away with some unique rewards.

1. The Final Boss: Le Vengeur Sombre (The Dark Avenger)

After you’ve defended the Bell Tower and completed the puzzle, a series of ominous chimes signal the arrival of Le Vengeur Sombre, the Dark Avenger—a terrifying, multi-phase boss with devastating attacks and several stages of combat.

Boss Overview:

• Name: Le Vengeur Sombre (The Dark Avenger)
• Health: Extremely high, with multiple phases where the boss regenerates health.
• Abilities: Le Vengeur Sombre is a necrotic entity, wielding dark magic and summoning minions, which makes this boss fight all about controlling the battlefield while managing damage output.

This fight will test your team's coordination, resource management, and ability to adapt under pressure. It’s crucial to approach this fight with a solid strategy, as there are several phases to get through.

2. Boss Fight Phases: How to Survive Each Stage

Phase 1: The Awakening

• Boss Behavior: In this phase, Le Vengeur Sombre will be surrounded by shadow orbs that he uses to protect himself. He’s not as aggressive yet, but his minions will start appearing at random locations.
• Minions: The minions he summons are Spectral Ghosts and Frenzied Berserkers. You’ll need to clear them quickly, as they can easily overwhelm your team.

Strategy:

• Focus on Minions First: Prioritize taking out the minions that spawn around the boss. You don’t want to get swarmed, so keep a clear line of sight to the boss and the minions.
• Use Elemental Weapons: The shadow orbs that surround the boss are weak to light-based or fire elemental weapons. Use Elemental Thunderstrike or Flamethrowers to damage these orbs and break through the boss’s shield.

Phase 2: The Dark Awakening

• Boss Behavior: Le Vengeur Sombre enters his second phase after the orbs are destroyed. He’ll cast dark energy waves that deal heavy damage and send out shockwaves to knock players back. The arena becomes much more dangerous as the environmental hazards start becoming more active.
• Environmental Hazards: Pools of necrotic slime will appear on the ground, which can damage players standing in them for extended periods. Watch your footing!

Strategy:

• Dodge and Weave: When the boss starts emitting dark energy shockwaves, you’ll need to keep moving to avoid getting hit. Pay attention to the ground as pools of necrotic slime can be deadly.
• Split the Team: Split your team into two groups: one group will focus on clearing minions, while the other should concentrate fire on the boss. Communication is key—keep track of when the boss is about to cast a shockwave and prepare to dodge.
• Use High-Damage Weapons: In this phase, heavy weapons like Ray Guns, Pack-A-Punched LMGs, and Elemental Thunderstrike are crucial for dealing consistent damage. If you have a Power-up like Insta-Kill or Double Points, time it with this phase to get maximum damage output.

Phase 3: The Wrath of Darkness

• Boss Behavior: Le Vengeur Sombre unleashes his full power, creating a dark void in the center of the arena that pulls in players, disorients them, and severely limits movement. He’ll also summon a Dark Void Monster—an enormous, tentacled creature that spawns shadow demons and launches ranged attacks.
• Dark Void Monster: The tentacled monster is the boss's secondary threat. It doesn't deal damage directly, but its shadow demons will continuously spawn, overwhelming your team.

Strategy:

• Focus on the Dark Void Monster: The key to surviving this phase is dealing with the Dark Void Monster first. It’s the source of the endless wave of shadow demons. Once the monster is down, you’ll have more breathing room to deal with Le Vengeur Sombre.
• Stay Mobile: The dark void will pull you in and disorient you, so it’s crucial to keep moving. Use Stamin-Up and Speed Cola to maintain mobility and avoid getting trapped in the center.
• Clear Shadow Demons: Keep a close eye on your surroundings and make sure to clear any shadow demons that spawn. These creatures can easily overwhelm your team if left unchecked.

Phase 4: The Final Showdown

• Boss Behavior: Le Vengeur Sombre, now at his most powerful, will enter an enraged state. He will continually teleport around the arena, casting energy bolts and summoning Elite Zombies that have increased damage and health.

Strategy:

• Keep the Pressure On: In this final phase, you need to keep up the pressure. Constantly fire on the boss, especially when he's teleporting. Watch for energy bolts that deal massive damage and Elite Zombie Summons, which should be quickly dealt with.
• Team Positioning: Make sure that your team has good positioning. Have your DPS players in the back, dealing damage to the boss, while your Tank and Support players keep the Elite Zombies off the team.

Critical Moment:

• When Le Vengeur Sombre’s health reaches a critical low, he will attempt to cast a devastating dark energy wave. This is the moment to unleash everything—use any Power-ups like Max Ammo, Insta-Kill, and Double Points to finish him off. Focus all fire on the boss to end the fight quickly.

3. Boss Fight Rewards: What You Get for Your Efforts

Congratulations! If you've made it through all four phases of the boss fight and defeated Le Vengeur Sombre, you’ll be rewarded handsomely. Here’s what you can expect:

a. The Arcane Bell Artifact

Upon defeating the boss, you will gain access to the Arcane Bell Artifact, an item that grants your team a unique power-up for future rounds. The Arcane Bell gives you:

• Double Damage for all weapons for a set amount of time.
• Instant Ammo Recharge for all players.
• The ability to teleport to any unlocked location on the map at the cost of 20% health.

b. Secret Ending Cutscene

Completing the Easter Egg and defeating the boss unlocks a secret cutscene that ties into the overarching story of Citadelle Des Morts. This cutscene offers deeper insights into the necrotic origins of the map, the Bell Tower’s role, and introduces a new mystery that sets up future maps and storylines.

c. Bonus Points and Upgrades

Upon completing the Easter Egg, your team will also receive a massive points multiplier, giving you an edge in subsequent rounds. Additionally, you'll be able to upgrade your loadout for future games, with access to exclusive weapons and power-ups.

d. Permanent Unlocks

As a reward for your dedication, the Easter Egg completion will unlock permanent upgrades:
